Branch & Vine Skin Care originated from a simple yet profound revelation of our body’s ability to heal.

After experiencing the devastating effects of years of topical steroid overmedication, I realized true healing for me would only come from a natural approach. Medications weren’t helping my body; they were harming it.

I had suffered from childhood eczema, but my struggle with red, inflamed, extremely dry, and sometimes oozing skin came from my body’s addiction and dependency on topical steroids. I was continually prescribed increasingly stronger doses until I found myself in intensive care from a severe reaction to withdrawal from the drugs. Dermatologists genuinely had tried to help, but their limited understanding of skin health, focus on symptom management, and overpowering pharmaceuticals never healed my body. Rather, it caused severe, long-term damage. I knew I needed to learn for myself what was wrong with my skin, learn to listen to it, and seek natural ways to help it heal.

In my journey to wellness, I discovered healing from the inside and out. Rest, an anti-inflammatory diet, hydration, nurturing relationships, a calm mind, prayers for healing, divine guidance, and naturally healing body butters were all essential to my recovery. Along with a lot of plastic wrap! (Ask me about it!)

One major challenge I had was finding a skincare product that went beyond simply creating a barrier for my broken skin. I knew I needed something that truly nourished and revitalized my skin barrier on a cellular level, while also protecting it. I researched and sought plant-based nutrients and ingredients that would feed, cleanse, and deeply moisturize my skin while offering skin barrier protection. What I found was so simple. Nature offers powerful plants that have been healing the human skin all over the world for centuries!

And so, Branch & Vine was born. I make these beautiful body butters for myself and use them every day. They are 100% all natural, plant-based ingredients, sourced from organic farmers around the world. My skin has never felt better! I love making these rich butters for you too.
