Meet the Founder

 

Branch & Vine Skin Care originated from a simple belief in the incredible power of the human body to heal itself.

After experiencing the devastating effects of years of overmedication with topical steroids—leading to a weakened immune system and severe skin flare-ups—the founder, Jen Stalvey, realized her true healing would come from a natural approach!

Through her journey, she discovered healing from the inside and out. Rest, an anti-inflammatory nutrition, nurturing relationships, a calm mind, and, importantly, the transformative benefits of naturally healing body butters were all essential to her recovery. Along with a lot of plastic wrap! (Ask her about it!)

During her struggle with red, inflamed, extremely dry, and sometimes oozing skin, she found limited resources offering real solutions. While dermatologists genuinely tried to help, their focus on symptom management often fell short and even caused long-term damage, prompting her search for a holistic approach to healing.

One major challenge was finding a skincare product that went beyond simply creating a barrier on the skin. She knew she needed something that truly nourished and revitalized her skin barrier on a cellular level. She researched and sought plant-based nutrients and ingredients that would feed, cleanse, and deeply moisturize her skin while offering skin barrier protection. Fortunately, she found nature offer powerful plants that have been healing the human skin all over the world for centuries!

What began as a personal quest for healing soon expanded. After creating these nourishing butters for herself and for clients of her esthetician mother, she felt compelled to share them with anyone seeking a natural, holistic, and effective solution for troubled skin.

And so, Branch & Vine was born—a journey to embrace the healing potential of nature for beautiful, healthy skin!
